And the Co-Modify Performers are... by Ingrid Murnane

'Co-Modify' is the second performance project by the public art collective @Platea. During the week of 3rd -9th May performers will stage a fictional 'sponsorship' by a brand or megacorporation to be enacted on their social networking sites.

Lots of people have been signing up to join us for Co-Modify over the past few days, and this post lists those who are to perform next week. There are links to people's Twitter profiles, blogs and other social networking sites which individuals have earmarked for use while taking part. Although I will list them there will not however, be links to Facebook profiles, due to it being a bit of a 'walled garden'. The best thing to do if you would like to see how others are performing on Facebook is to send them a Direct Message on Twitter or on one of their other sites. Explaining that you would like to be friends because of @Platea's Co-Modify performance (and are not just some random stalker) would probably be a good move too!

So, What's Next?
Well, just to remind you all that the performance starts on Sunday 3rd May, so get your thinking caps on for some creative ways to perform your 'sponsorship'. An Xiao will be posting tomorrow to introduce the Steering Committee and to throw out some good ideas to make the performances lively and engaging.
